Window Restoration Weekend

Bring your own sash window — we will help you restore it. Over a Saturday and Sunday you will strip paint, dismantle the frame, splice rotten sills, replace sash cords, re-glaze with crown or drawn glass as appropriate, and finish in linseed oil paint.

By the end of the weekend you will take home a restored sash ready to re-install. If you do not have a sash to bring, we supply a period sash from our reclaim stock for an additional £60 (ask when you book).

Four places per weekend. Led by Ben Fairweather, who restored the 42 sashes on the Lewes terrace project (637). Meals provided both days. Accommodation is not included but we can recommend two nearby pubs with rooms.
